Less Love and more Horse Rocking Shoes

Horse rocking shoes are a huge trend in Japan and specially around gothic lolitas. Created by Vivienne Westwood, my favorite designer, these beauties are inspired by japanese geta shoes (the wooden sole shoes they usually wear with a kimono or yukata) and a hip response to the s/s 2012 wooden sole wedges. I own ones and they are suprinsingly comfy and flattering. If you are not lucky enough to live in Japan you can find them on ebay and there are so many styles and colors to choose from.

  1. I have never seen like them before but they are definitely cute! Well done, great blog! Hope you can take a minute to check out mine too!

  2. J’adore!! Vivienne Westwood is a living legend of the fashion world, her designs are phenomenal! Loved this post, I’ve seen the wooden wedge soled shoes on Vivienne Westwood’s websites & they immediately made me think of the wooden shoes from “Memoirs of a Geisha”, which are so beautiful in their unique & unusual design!! Great blog post, xoxo
